Complex of museum “History of the Tank “T-34”

Visitors find themselves on the main square of the museum with the monument of M.I. Koshkin (sculptor S.Scherbakov, architect I. Voskresenskiy). On the main square in front of the main entrance displayed an exposition of modern tanks – progeny of T-34. The square itself is an amphitheatre, a roofless hall, which is destined for holding mass festivals and meetings.
The special ceremonial route lids to the main exhibit tank T-34, lifted on the hill, by stairs and ramps that are forming the museum volume as a monument and as a landscape. This decision is founded on a longstanding tradition of the most outstanding native memorials. It is based on common spatial archetypes such as burial mounds, sacred groves and fields, megaliths, stylobates etc.
