Moshe Safdie reveals a Fourth Tower for Marina Bay Sands in Singapore

Safdie Architects has created a project for an expansion to the Marina Bay Sands Resort in Singapore. The addition consists of a new stand-alone hotel tower with about 1,000 suites, its own sky roof and swimming pool, and a 15,000-seat music arena. The new project will be linked to the existing resort and waterfront development, also the the fourth tower resembles the other three from 2011.
The existing Marina Bay Sands is a 121,000 square meter mixed-use integrated resort, including a 55 storey hotel, a 1.2-hectare garden Skypark on top of the towers, cultural halls, shopping and dining facilities, an outdoor event plaza and the famous 150-meter-high infinity swimming pool – one of Singapore’s most famous landmarks.
