Architect with an extensive practice in Mexico and abroad, author of many landmark buildings, among them the Mexican Embassy in Berlin in collaboration with Teodoro Gonzales de Leon. From 1960 to 1971 has taught at the Universidad Iberoamericanam The Universidad Nacional Autynoma de Mexico and at Universidad La Salle. A member (Miembro de Numero) of the Academia de Artes (1998). Awarded with the National Prize for Arts and Sciences, category “fine arts”(2003). An Honorary Fellow of the American Institute of Architects.
