INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY OF ARCHITECTURE UNION OF ARCHITECTS IN BULGARIA UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE CIVIL ENGINEERING AND GEODESYSOFIA ORGANIZE XV WORLD TRIENNIAL OF ARCHITECTURE “INTERARCH 2018” Sustainable Architecture for Sustainable World

13 – 16 May 2018, Sofia, Bulgaria 

One of the most important architecture events in 2018 for the architectural society. Open international forum with professional participation of architects and students from all over the world, profiling a panorama of the tendencies and achievements of contemporary world architecture. Participants will discuss the topic “Sustainable Architecture for Sustainable World”, exchange ideas with leading masters of world contemporary architecture and take part in the different sections of “Interarch 2018″.

  1. FORUM “SUSTAINABLE ARCHITECTURE FOR SUSTAINABLE WORLD” 
  2. AUTHOR`S CONFERENCES BY LEADING MASTERS OF WORLD CONTEMPORARY ARCHITECTURE 
    EXHIBITION-COMPETITION OF ARCHITECTURAL PROJECTS AND BUILT WORKS
  3. Sections:
    1) Architectural Structures of the Future;
    2) Innovations and Traditional Architecture;
    3) Architectural Identity;
    4) Architecture and Ecology;
    5) Sustainable Cities.

International Honorary Awards, as well as Laureate Diplomas will be presented by an International Jury. 

4. EXHIBITION-COMPETITION OF STUDENTS’ PROJECTS

International jury will present Honorary awards to the winners. 
Participants in both “EXHIBITION-COMPETITION OF ARCHITECTURAL PROJECTS AND BUILT WORKS” and “EXHIBITION-COMPETITION OF STUDENTS’ PROJECTS” should submit online up to 4 panels (portrait or landscape), format A1 (84.2cm./59.4cm), profiling their architectural projects and/or built works with texts (in English), drawings, sketches and color or black & white photos. Please, insert numbers on the panels in the down right corner. Deadline for registration, fee payment and submission of projects for both competitions is 13.04.2018. The bank account of “Interarch 2018” is included in the Registration form. Send your projects and registration forms to iaarch@yahoo.com “Subject” of the letter: Interarch 2018 – architects or Interarch 2018 – students.

** Bulgarian students or foreign students studying in Bulgarian universities. * One fee applies for max. 4 panels which can present one or more projects.

 

5. EXHIBITION-COMPETITION OF BOOKS AND MAGAZINES ON ARCHITECTURE (published after 2010)

  • Send your registration form to iaarch@yahoo.com, “Subject” of the letter: Interarch 2018 – books and magazines. (link to the Registration form is available in the previous section)
  • Participation is free of charge. Please, send or bring your book or magazine to the address of the International Academy of Architecture before 30.04.2018.
  • An International Jury will present Honorary awards to the winners.
