Architect designer working in New Mexico and internationally, author of many realized building projects.Awarded prizes like Rome Prize1985), a New Mexico Governor’s Award for Excellence in the Arts(1989), the AIA Gold Medal(2006).Also awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum (2007).Was named a Senior Fellow of the Design Futures Council (2010).
