The winners of the 17th edition of the CTBUH /Council of Tall Building and Urban Habitat/ Tall building Awards were announced. From 65 finalists, winners were chosen in a few categories by the votes of a panel of architects from world-renowned firms. Among this year’s winning projects are:
- European Patent Office, Rijswijk of Ateliers Jean Nouvel as Best Tall Office Building
- 277 Fifth Avenue, New York City of Rafael Vinoly Architects as Best Tall Residential or Hotel Building
- Central Park, Sydney of Ateliers Jean Nouvel as District/Master Plan Scale
- Morheus Hotel & Resort at City Dreams, Macau of Zaha Hadid Architects in the category Fire & Risk Engineering
